Kalapaki Beach is great for swimming, learning to surf, boogie boarding and stand up paddle boarding. This sandy bay is very scenic as its nestled below the Kalapaki cliffs and next to the Hule’ia River. It’s partially protected from the open ocean by a large break wall and is a great spot for relaxing, sunbathing or picking up a game of beach volleyball. Watching the ships roll in and out of the near by harbor is an enjoyable bonus.
