KAUAI DEEP SEA FISHING
Kauai Sport Fishing: Kauai is the least populated of the main Hawaiian Islands. Due to our limited harbor space and low volume of boat captains, our waters are the least fished, which means this is the perfect place to Hanapa’a (get hooked up)!
Head out to the deep sea fishing hot spots with Capt. Jeff Steiner. He has been doing fishing tours here for the past 25 years. He’s got the boat with all the bells and whistles and more importantly he knows how to catch!! We recommend booking this early in your vacation so that you may enjoy your catch for dinner one night in your vacation home. As we say in Hawaiian, Hanapa’a – get hooked!!!

The local fisherman we are recommending operate big spacious 38 foot and 42’ Bertram Vessels. Twice they have been featured on the ESPN channel, not only because Kauai is one of the major fishing capitals of the world, but also because they are the local fishing experts. Your fishing tour will embark from Nawilwili Small Boat harbor. This is your closest departure location to get you out to our local favorite fishing hot spot which will surely maximize your catching potential. During the tour you will be primarily going after big game fish – Mahi Mahi, Ono, Ahi (Tuna) and Marlin. However, your captain is prepared with many different fishing techniques to best target the fish that are biting at the time of your tour.
Enjoy a treasure hidden away from crowds at the Waita Reservoir, the largest body of fresh water in the State of Hawaii. Located on private property, Waita is inaccessible to the general public and stocked with Peackock Bass. Reserving one of our pontoon bass boats for catch and release fishing is tons of fun. Your boat captain (guide) will do all the baiting & rigging for you, so its all about kicking back on the cushion seats, soaking up the views and reeling in fish!
Our personalized shoreline fishing guides come equipped with poles, tackle, bait, chairs and a cooler. All you need to bring is your bathing suit, towel and sunglasses. You will be taken to one of our local fishing holes, depending on where conditions are best on the day of your tour. Once on location your guide will educate you on the various species of reef fish in which you are targeting. These tours are designated for catch and release style of fishing.
